Abstract

As an effort to realize good local governance, the Pandeglang Regency Government has committed to continuously improve the quality of public services. In order to determine the quality of services provided and efforts to improve service performance on an ongoing basis, the Pandeglang Regency Government measured the Community Satisfaction Index for work units that provide services to the community in 2014. In general, the implementation of public services carried out by service units in All Regional Apparatus Units (SKPD) including sub-districts, health centers and sub-districts/villages in Pandeglang Regency have been running well. This is indicated by the overall value of the implementation of public services is the index value of 2.96 and the value of the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) = 73.9. The value in the Table of Perception Values ​​is in the service quality category "B" (good). The index value of each public service unit in the SKPD generally gets an index value above 3.0, which is higher than the overall index value of public services, which is 2.96 although it is still in the "good" category. Nevertheless, there are several elements of public services whose index value is below 3.0, namely a) Certainty of service period, b) Clarity of service fees/rates, c) Statement of service standards posted at the counter and d) Follow up on any complaints, suggestions as well as input.
