Abstract

The formation of a Joint Business Group (KUBE) is based on the proximity of residence, type of business or skills of members, availability of natural resources/geographical conditions, the same background in cultural life, and the same motivation. However, in practice, there are several indications of problems researchers found in the field, including: (1) limited human resources capable of managing financial data, in this case skills and education are still low. (2) lack of understanding of the recipients of business capital assistance, why the assistance was given, and most of them just joined in and did not really understand the Joint Business Group (KUBE) and how to manage it. (3) lack of supervision in the use of venture capital. (4) lack of public awareness to follow the instructions of the empowerment program that has been socialized, the level of community participation is very low. This study was to determine the implementation of the KUBE program in Keroncong District. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by using primary data interview, observation and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Joint Business Group Program (KUBE) in Koroncong District, Pandeglang Regency has been going well, seen from the following aspects: (1) Types of benefits, the benefits felt by business groups are that they can help the economy of their citizens(2 ) implementing the program, so far it is still going very well. (3) Resources involved, Funds
given in cash. (4) Characteristics of institutions and authorities, which the group members feel is quite helpful in terms of finances because of the existence of this business group.
